Wendy Cai

Wendy Cai is a Partner at Oenus Capital, a firm that provides tailored private equity, private real estate and private credit investment solutions. 

Prior to Oenus Capital, she was the EVP at East West Bank where she helped the bank grow from $24B to $34B. 

Prior to this, she was a Managing Partner at OliveTree Partners, LLC, a merchant banking firm focused on providing strategic financial advice to privately-held Chinese companies.

Before that, she served as a Managing Director at Deloitte overseeing its U.S./China Cross-Border Mergers and Acquisitions team.

She also co-founded a POS software company and was the driving force behind raising multi-million dollar venture investments in the U.S. and Greater China.

Wendy is a member of the Board of Trustees of Friends of UNFPA (the United Nations Population Fund), a member of the Rutgers University’s Board of Overseers, Chair of the Dean’s Advisory Board at Douglass College and is a Board Trustee and member of the Corporate Council at Asia Society Texas Center. 

In 2015, Wendy was honored as one of the “50 Most Important People in Commercial Real Estate Finance” by The Mortgage Observer.

She won the “Above & Beyond” award from the City & State Magazine for her extraordinary leadership and contributions and was selected for multiple “40 Under 40” awards, including from NJBIZ (2013), M&A Advisors (2013) and Crain’s New York (2007).
